Review of Road Hard (2015) by Marshall S — 04 Jun 2015

For any filmmaker needing encouragement, watch this film! Totally crowd sourced but looks like a theatrical release. Really well done; the number of comedian cameos is very impressive. And who knew Adam had acting chops? Sure, he's doing his standup/podcast schtick, but there are tender moments including a good chemistry between Carolla and Diane Farr. And of course, there are many laugh-out-loud moments. Hell! It's Adam Carolla fer chrissakes!

Now whether a young filmmaker has the networking skills to raise nearly $1.5 mil is another issue. :) But the script is good enough that it could have been shot for 1/4 the cost and still work.

Really hope this gets picked up by a cable network like FX! It's really good romantic comedy.
