Review of Revenge of the Dead (1959) by Donovan D — 28 Jan 2008
The final chapter of Wood's 'Kelton Trilogy'. This was a baaaad movie; incoherent and inept even by Ed Wood's lofty standards. Elements of the story seemed inserted for no other reason than for Wood to use stock footage, and it is almost pathetic to see how he tries to create links to the earlier Lugosi films in the 'trilogy'.
Lacking the humour of the much greater Plan 9 from Outer Space, Night of the Ghouls is only really of interest to Wood completists and fans of Paul Marco's Kelton.
