Review of Repo Chick (2009) by Allan C — 20 Aug 2011
Not really a sequel to "Repo Man", but directed by Alex Cox the connection is hard not to make. While "Repo Man" was a goofy subculture film, this one is more of a bublegum satire. Although it does have a bubblegum silly surface style, the film is actually seems quite cynical about the future of people and society.
The film was not as disappointing as I'd heard, but it's still nothing all that great. Worth watching if you're an Alex Cox fan, but just barely.
