A wierd, oddball animated film that's entirely it's own unique, strange thing, with plenty of surreal touches and even (unexpectededly) a little hunter s thompson thrown in. The animation ( by special effects studio industrial light and magic) is astoundingly perfect and vivid, it isnt cutesy at all, in fact it is often very edgy and full of truly nightmarishly ugly characters.
A great film, and a genuinely good western as well.Rango is a strange masterpiece of an animated classic, I absolutely love it.
