Review of Railways (2010) by Kong M — 17 Sep 2011
The movie itself is like a train...it moves very very slowly (yes a slow pace), but it is a wonderful slice of life story as it emphasizes that life has to go forward, in a positive way, just like a train on its railway, no matter the diversion of paths, or changes in priorities in life due to circumstances it encounters.
Also, like a train, the main character still strives to make positive impact on people surrounding him. Another thing to note is there is no over-the-top sequences in its drama, though there are cliched parts noted.
A well made movie.
