Review of Ragtime (1981) by Timothy S — 07 Nov 2008
It's a slightly flawed, but still very good film. It's not Milos Forman's best work, but let's keep in mind, his other works include One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest and Amadeus. The novel is phenomenal and the film is very ambitious indeed.
See it for the incredible music and the amazing cast, including the legendary James Cagney, the versatile Brad Dourif and the wonderful Elizabeth McGovern.
