Review of Push (2006) by Joe E — 29 Apr 2011
I honestly don't understand why this film is so underrated. I thought it progressed well, the acting was brilliant, the story was good, the camera work was a mix between quite gritty and very cinematic which brought a great sense of realism to a film filled with supernatural things.
I was really looking forward to finding out what happens next because it leaves so much unanswered that I was surprised the way it ended. I guess that would be the only reason I can think of that it would get low reviews; it maybe tried too hard to get a sequel.
But it was thoroughly enjoyable, me and all my friends had lots of fun watching this. Which is why I wonder where all the hate comes from.
