Review of Pulse (2010) by Am Q — 18 May 2009
A very creepy movie that has loads of jumpy bits, and made the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end.
Hollywood have re-made alot of Jap horror movies i.e The Ring, The Grudge, The Eye, Shutter, the list goes on. But none that I have seen ever lives up to the original. Which leaves the question why bother re-making the movies if you cant do a better job??
THis movie answers that question! This movie blows the original out of the water. The Jap version was a very good movie, but this on is the dogs dangly bits! The Director has capyured everything that the original had and added his own blend of horror and creepyness to the movie. This is a must see for all horror fans. Played on my mind for weeks to come after watching this movie, something that recent horror movie just havent been able to do. Great movie.
