Review of Privilege (1967) by Karen F — 06 Jul 2010
I love 60s films, and this one is atmospheric enough, and has the utterly beautiful Jean Shrimpton in it, so I had high hopes. Too high as it turned out. It is, I'm sure, very clever, but it's kind of lacking a heart.
I found it really difficult to get emotionally engaged, and when my viewing was interrupted an hour in, I couldn't be bothered to watch the end. Might have been better if Simon Cowell had made an appearance.
