Review of Princess Raccoon (2005) by Lisa M — 19 Aug 2007
This is the first film I've seen of Suzuki's other than his 1960's Yakuza films and to his credit (or discredit depending on your taste) his style is still as bizarre and esoteric as it ever was.
I could do without some of the musical numbers in this , but over all it's an interesting feast for the eyes, and a wild adaptation of japanese mythology.
