Review of Prince Avalanche (2013) by Jordon J — 20 Feb 2014
A stark, honest film about nothing really. But something about it feels so clean, and the simple but quirky dialogue leaves one with an enigmatic taste on the tongue. The melancholic tone is relieved by the should-be-awkward-but-isn't relationship developed between two somewhat naive characters, and the scenery perpetuates a sense of reality that the film thrives on.
Brilliant.
