Review of Pretty Baby (1950) by James V — 25 Jan 2009
The story of a 12-year-old girl growing up in a whore house. This movie was gritty and awkward at times and not in a good way. Some scenes with the 12 year old Broke Shields even made me cringe. But this movie is not as graphic as one would think and it shows very little T & A.
It gives a decent history about the red light district in Storyville New Orleans. I can't recommend this movie only because of the topless scenes of baby Brooke, it's just too much.
