I started to love indie gay movies due to films like "Eating Out" and "Latter Days." Those two films showed me that you can take ordinary material and turn it into something borderline great.

"Poster Boy" is not one of those kinds of movies that made me go "Wow!" Don't get me wrong--it had potential but there were too many unnecessary storylines and one-dimensional characters.

I also didn't fully come to like the two leads. In the end, the film was another empty shell. It's a good try from the filmmakers but next time, they should up the creativity factor.
