Review of Polytechnique (2009) by Marilee A — 24 Oct 2011
You can't make sense of something that has none, so the director does not try. Instead, he masterfully directs two stories about students in the school where the massacre took place. Simple, elegant and touching.
I saw this movie after being impressed by Villeneuve's Oscar-nominated Incendies, and it didn't let me down.
