Review of Poltergeist III (1988) by Stephen J — 05 Sep 2009
Definitely the weakest entry in the series, yet Poltergeist 3 manages to add some original creepiness with its ultra-modern skyscraper arpartment building/office building/mall that is full of mirrors. Indeed, much of Poltergesit 3's scares derive from the frightening aspect of mirrors--the mirrors in Poltergeist 3 become like the mirrors in Cocteau films: they are doors into another world.
A pale comparison to the original, Poltergeist 3 will still probably entertain fans of supernatural horror films.
