Review of Plenty (1985) by Anne F — 07 Mar 2008
Starting with youthful enthuisiam, this is the story of Meryl Streep's character's boredom after life working in for the French resistance, her self-pitying voyage through life, her utter horridness and disdain for those around her, her descent into mental illness and the abandonment of hope.
Left me feeling very flat.
