Review of Platform (2001) by Zachary D — 31 Jan 2011
A film that flows like freeverse poetry, meandering and unhurried. I would almost compare the experiencing of this film to the sensation one gets from listening to ambient music -- it drifts in and out of your awareness, yet you feel utterly immersed in its resonance throughout.
After all, the characters are just props, and their personal stories are merely incidental. The actual focus is on the paradigm shift that an entire society faces, for better or for worse.
