Review of Pinky (1949) by Joseph K — 05 Aug 2011
My God - this is a great movie. 1949. A ground breaking movie that dealt with racism in the bad old days of the south. Even if they had a white actor, Jeanne Crain (who was just awesome by the way), play a mixed race woman, this was an excellent movie.
Elia Kazan is an awesome director. This was an important historical film that was also very enjoyable to watch.
