Review of Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani (2000) by What N — 26 Mar 2009
The first half of this movie was so idiotic, I wanted to shoot myself. I was getting ready to walk out of the theatre (many years ago, obviously), but then Paresh Rawal made his appearance.....and from that point on, the film actually had a storyline.
The last 20 minutes of the film MADE the movie and, quite honestly, salvaged it from being a dud. The emotion in the last 20 minutes had me crying and cheering at the same time. Shahrukh & Juhi were both OK - good at times, bad at others.
Paresh Rawal was the real star.
