Review of Perrier's Bounty (2009) by Kenny M — 31 Mar 2010
Entertaining film set in underworld of dublin, as cillian murthy plays a guy in debt to gang boss played exellently by brendon gleeson, and through events, gets his next door neighbour, who he fancies involved, and his father, who is having a bit of a time of it, as he believes, next time he sleeps, the devil will collect him and die.
some great irish humour throughout, and also well handled violence, it mixes both comedic and serious well, and the story is always engageing, in tone to gleesons other film, in bruge which again was exellent, and the directors earliar film, intermission, which I also enjoyed.
wh out for the voice of the devil, a wel known irish actor is heard, a good watch.
