Review of Peep World (2010) by Snookerton B — 18 Sep 2010
NOPE! THIS MOVIE IS NOT CRAPPY!
On the day of their Father's 70th birthday party, four siblings come to terms with the publication of a novel written by the youngest sibling, that exposes the family's most intimate secrets.
This is billed as a dark comedy, but it's not too dark. Alot of dark comedies go off into that realm of too dark which is very unfunny.
This film was alot better than I expected and much funnier than I thought it would be. Ben Schwartz steals the movie with his comedic brilliance while Rainn Wilson and Sarah Silverman aren't given enough material to shine. That being said, it was a well rounded comedy with a great story.
This is another movie that we seen at the Toronto Film Festival and I suggest you check this one out!
