Good God! This was odd.
I can't help but think you'd be better off watching a documentary about Patty Hearst. All this film does is cover the basic facts that anyone interested in her already knows.
The dialogue is incredibly stilted and somewhat corny which is a shame as I normally like Paul Schrader's work.
