Review of Patient Seventeen (2017) by Francisco S — 23 Oct 2017
This film is wild. A much needed elevation to this genre of documentary. Boldly investigating and shining light on the grey areas of human belief; this is a film that redefines the art of documentary. Just a fascinating story and approach to the subject.
Hands down, Patient Seventeen was the best I have seen exploring the topic of non-human contact and intervention. It is cinematically rich and robust, and just a fantastic and personal look into this field of curiosity.
Jeremy Corbell's storytelling is skillful and kept me entertained. I read that Corbell shot, edited and directed the whole thing on his own? That's wild. I found the scientific evidence in the film fascinating, and also disturbing.
You can tell Corbell and Patient Seventeen are both skeptical, yet impressed by the findings. I want to see more from this guy, and I just checked out his website. Lots to see in his work. Anyway, this film is an adventure, and I highly recommend it.
