PASSION is laced with the staples of the Brian DePalma films that made him so famous back in the day. You can see the elements of DRESSED TO KILL, BODY DOUBLE, BLOW OUT and some of the psychological intensity of SISTERS and a little of THE BLACK DAHLIA all the way through this film.
What it does lack is PASSION. And that's where the films starts to fail by the time the mystery is unveiled and the credits begin to roll. A glimpse of the DePalma of old but not enough to call it a comeback.
