Review of Parineeta (2005) by Sumit D — 16 Nov 2008
An excellent romantic drama with a strong yet simple story of two feuding families and the impact it has on everyones lives. The setting of 1960s Kolkatta is really visually appealing and gorgeously shot.
The music is great (especially the jazzy Kaisi Paheli Zindgani) and the whole cast is excellent especially the three leads. A truly outstanding film.
