Review of Papadopoulos & Sons (2012) by Simon W — 27 Dec 2013
Slower than waiting for a deep fat fryer to warm up. The acting is as flat as a fish and the film as entertaining as a pickled onion stuck in the throat. I was expecting a comedy with some drama but this film is neither comedy or drama, rather it straddles a no-man's land between the two.
Simply speeding it up would have made a difference. I thought it was lacking in soul with a lead character it was hard to care for. Overall, it should have been batter.
