War happens. I was fine with the film not being any longer than it was. I don't think it sought to make a definitive statement on war or the human condition - it captures some atmosphere and I appreciated the weaving together of archival footage within a sketched out plot structure.
Made it different from the usual documentary and/or battle flick.
