I love small towns, and I absolutely love small town movies. This movie has so much to offer. The acting is spot on through all of it. I mean, seriously, I pretty much live in Shelbyville, and people act just like this. ;).
The story is so heart-felt, makes you cheer and cry; the music is so fitting, and just an overall excellent movie.
