Review of One Week (2008) by Sienna P — 06 Mar 2009
A rather uplifting movie despite its premise of it being a story about a man who was just told he was going to die at a young age. This suddenly triggers the man to literally 'wake up and take note' of his life thus far and figure out what he really wants to do - starting off with a bike ride across Canada literally in order to find himself.
He comes across a lot of different people, various landmarks and other curiosities - the sceenery is rather breathtaking overall, the performances very credible (naturally, it's a Canadian movie after all :D) and emotionally convincing, with directing, editing as well as music choice rounding off a most enjoyable 94 minute visit to the movies.
