The movie may be cheesy and poorly acted and the dialogues are awful, but the dancing and the exquisite choreographies definitely make up for it. Basically, it's a rare gem, seeing Patrick Swayze dance with his wife, remembering his knee injury and his history with dance.
I think in some way the movie is autobiographical (written by Lisa Niemi, Patrick's spouse).
