Review of On Golden Pond (1981) by Torrence S — 19 Nov 2007
Absolutely brilliant film about the lives of an aging couple and a troubled father-daughter relationship. Like most films, we add our own characterization to the characters and this film has relevance to almost everyone.
Henry Fonda, in his last and possibly greatest role, was touching and deserved the Academy Award for Best Actor, his only one. Besides "Schindler's List," this is the most crying from watching a movie that I can remember.
Very touching film that I would recommend watching.
