Review of Oliver Twist (2005) by Silvia, Alfred, Catherine, & — 08 Feb 2007
I have never seen any of the versions of this (except Disney's Oliver & Company when I was little), but I'm quite familiar with the story. What I loved about this one though, was how well it captured London in this time period; the filth, poverty, and crowded atmosphere.
Barney Clark has the perfect amount of melancholy for poor Oliver Twist.
