Review of Oh, Mr. Porter! (1937) by Private U — 22 Nov 2007
This is truly a gem of pre-war British Comedy. While Overseas had Chaplin & Keaton we championed with the Great Will Hay - With Oh Mr Porter you have his greatest Hour (and a half).
From the Train Time gag sat on the tracks to The Windmill scene - The Film is Pure Gold. Buggleskelly 1937 is where the fun is at..Oh and this film..Not Thomas the tank Engine got me into Trains a 8 year old!
A Steaming 5/5!!
'Your Wasting Yaaaaar Time! he he he he'.
