Review of Nowhere Boy (2009) by Carole T — 28 Mar 2011
A brilliant portrayal of John Lennon's beginnings as a musician. As a period piece, it flourishes with its set and costumes and Aaron Johnson's role as Lennon is memorable and unique. From its opening shot to the losing credits, it will grab your attention and refuse to let go.
It showcased Lennon's flaws, but also his wit and intelligence that would drive him to become one of the most legendary figures in the history of rock and roll. A must see for any and every Beatles fan.
