Review of Nosferatu (1922) by Anthony V — 29 Oct 2009
Although video cameras of that age could not capture scenes in the dark. Murnau uses different colors to his advantage to convey time of day, and mood. It's innovative and works surprisingly well. Max Schreck as the vampire is truly unforgettable.
He truly is one of the most creepy characters I have ever seen in film history.
