Review of Nixon (1995) by Raynormanbateman . — 11 Apr 2010
Oliver Stone has given us great films about great figures in the history of the human race. He is either loved or hated it seems but there is no doubt that his films always have something interesting to say, accurate or not.
Nixon is a very long film but such character needs that much time and the time given does a great job at telling us more about his life and the people around him.
Anthony Hopkins doesn't look like Nixon but his physical form and acting ability makes you forget that fact. He does a sublime job by making us believe he is Richard Nixon.
Like I said, I don't know how accurate anything is in this film but it does not take anything away from the quality of it.
