Review of Ninja Apocalypse (2014) by Don S — 07 Aug 2017

A low end martial arts movie with the premise that after a nuclear holocaust, ninjas, much like cockroaches, will be among the first to venture back onto the surface and begin reestablishing society. There are 6 clans under the umbrella of the Grandmaster, who calls their leaders to a summit to in order to have them band together to face a common enemy.

Someone assassinates the Grandmaster. A band of outcasts called the Lost Clan get the blame. The movie essentially is the journey of this clan to leave the nuclear bunker, 100 stories deep into the earth, and return to their village.

Dull martial arts action, zombies, bad acting and ninja "superpowers" (each clan has its own shtick) coalesce into a campy, utterly predictable,mostly uninteresting mess.
