Review of Nightmare City (1980) by Zach M — 28 Jul 2011
This was a lot better than I thought it was going to be.
Umberto Lenzi crafts a very interesting film that doesn't really slow down. It isn't really a zombie movie, it's a group of atomic super people. They attack and if you survive their attack but are wounded by them you become one.
Hugo Stiglitz is good as the reporter who tries to break the story and save his and his wife's life.
There are twists thrown in near the end which to me took away from the movie but it was still interesting.
Have to say there is a lot of nudity in this as well which is nice.
