Review of Nebraska (2013) by Nate M — 01 May 2014
This film is like a good White Stripes song - masterful in how it utilizes simplicity to great effect. It is far and above Alexander Payne's greatest work, and offers one of the few experiences that actually succeeds in making me cry while watching a movie/whatever else, if for no other reason than how much it reminds me of my own elderly parents.
