Review of Navajo Joe (1966) by Conner R — 14 Jul 2010
This is a fun movie above all and while it is one of Sergio Corbucci's lesser works, it knows its place and fares well. Burt Reynolds as a Navajo Indian is more odd than anything, but he manages to pull it off for the most part.
Most of the other characters are just dull, which is usually never the case in spaghetti westerns. The story is very interesting and in many ways its strongest element. However, what really makes this movie a must see spaghetti western is the unforgettable score.
There will never be another like it, almost too powerful and interesting.
