Review of My Soul to Take (2010) by John M — 12 Feb 2011
I feel this movie is the most underrated film of 2010. There are metaphors and literary techniques scattered all around the film, one of the strongest original ideas in a long time. My Soul to Take, never overstayed its welcome, the characters were portrayed very well, the filming was superb not to mention the ending was well constructed.
I hope for the continuation of horror films that writers and directors take notes from Wes Craven's latest masterpiece. As for anyone still on the fence about watching My Soul to Take, if you like a good scare, a well written script and to see hope for scary movies as a whole, give this one a watch.
