Review of Mudhoney! (1965) by Bruce J — 07 Nov 2009
Another Russ Meyer film during his black and white period is actually one of his best. Unlike his later color films this picture does not dwell on the presence of a bunch of busty women running around.
Don't get me wrong Mudhoney still serves up enough breasts to keep any Meyer fan happy but the plot really works and the acting is fast and crazy but fits the film perfect.
