An absolute well made film! Sir Ian Mckellen shines on the screen and delivers an Oscar worthy performance as the older version of Sherlock Holmes. The story is very fascinating, a little sad, and actually has a lot of laughable moments.
Laura Linney delivers a fine performance and Milo Parker is a joy to watch. The relationship between Mr. Holmes and the boy is quite a joy to watch. You really have to pay close attention to the story to understand everything, but overall a terrific film.
My grade=90%(A)!
