Review of Mr. Holmes (2015) by Sal L — 30 Jul 2015
I found this movie refreshing as it allowed one to think a little and listen to a story rather that watch CGI or gratuitous scenes. Ian McKellan read the part well and understood the premise of the character in the script.
It brings home a little empathy for those of us who have card for elderly parents undergoing the last stages of life. This is Academy worthy (to paraphrase Elaine).
