Review of Mortal Kombat (1995) by Matthew N — 31 Jan 2012
Can't say enough good things about this movie. Choreography is mint... Bridgette Wilson is an absolute babe, and Talisa Soto too.
Dialogue is rubbish but that's not what's important here, the movie doesn't take itself too seriously, Lambert's portrayal of Raiden will tell you that, with one or two excellently timed jokes. Johnney Cage's character as cocky and funny as hell where he subsequently has a fight scene... Casamassa is great.
Excellent movie, cheesy as hell and it goes beyond a guilty pleasure because a guitly pleasure can't be this good, any fans of the games, you have to see, you don't know what your missing, everyone else, well worth a watch if you have an open mind.
