Review of Morgan (2012) by Wes L — 12 Nov 2013
I thoroughly enjoyed this movie- in part because of it's New York boroughs feel. So few movies are made about ordinary people these days, people who are intelligent and competent but not especially articulate or witty.
The dialogue ran true, and the uptown interiors as well. Once the premise is laid out the end is predictable, but it seems entirely credible to me. I could fall in love with someone like Morgan-- he's sweet, hard-working, good-looking, and fully functional apart from the legs.
Nothing wrong with using tried-and-true movie conventions.
