Review of More than a Game (2008) by Marco C — 09 Apr 2010
An absolutely freakin' remarkable story of LeBron and his crew of brothers from other mothers, spanning over 5 years and numerous high school basketball victories and let downs, and finishing off with the achievement of the team wide dream of winning the national High School championship.
Fantastically moving and filled with emotion, More Than A Game succeeded at bringing basketball and LeBron's stardom out of the spotlight and focusing on the hardships and struggles that LeBron and his best friends dealt with before and after the fame, and how their experiences as boys helped them to become men, stay true to their family and moral roots, become lifelong friends, and ultimately achieve true happiness.
One of the best documentaries to ever be made, that I will surely watch over and over again.
