Review of Montana (2014) by Leigh A — 28 Sep 2015
Being a big fan of the cult class, Karate Kid I'm always searching for a new action film with a deeper meaning sewn throughout the story line. That's why I'm super excited about Montana because it embodied not only the violent, gang fight aspect but also shed light on the unique relationship between Montana (McKell David) and his mentor (Lars Mikkelson).
My favorite aspect of the movie definitely was how Lars taught troubled Montana important life lessons and the true meaning and significance of respect, honor and love. I recommend this movie to anyone who's into action films!
