Maybe I'm biased against this movie because it evokes such fond memories in my mind of Delhi. It is however no doubt an amazing film bursting with emotion, colour and energy. The most amazing thing is how realistic and believable the characters are thanks to Mira Nair who is probably the greatest director operating in India at the moment, with the Namesake cementing her status as one of the greats of all time along with Satyajit Ray.
