Ottimo ribaltamento del colpevole designato. il dubbio sul personaggio di lei (perché si offre a Hire?) è congegnato bene, anche grazie a un'attrice intrigante ma non bella. interessante il trattamento dell'ispettore, che compare senza colpo ferire.
